Stuart Easton and Tom Glover both received high mentions at the Oban and Lonach Games during the week, which also saw Faye Henderson (Oban Gold Medalist 2010) being allowed to compete in the Inverness Gold Medal.Stuart Easton received a 3rd in the B Piobaireachd at the Argyllshire Games at Oban, behind Andrew Bonar of Canada and Alistair Henderson of Scotland.

In the Piobaireachd at Lonach, Tom Glover secured a 5th. He also placed 5th in the March.

Faye Henderson – 2010 Gold Medalist at Oban – was set to play in the Silver Medal at Inverness, a week after her stunning performance that saw her win the Gold Medal. However, sources suggest Faye has been allowed to compete in the Gold at Inverness after her win at Oban. Good luck to all Kiwis – including Faye – who are making the trip this coming week.
