Marion Horsburgh won the Braemar Gold Medal playing “Nameless – Hiharin Dro o Dro”. Greg Wilson was 2nd. This is thought to be the first time a woman has won the Bramear Gold Medal – an outstanding achievement for Marion, and a thrilling end to her Scottish Campaign.

It has been a great couple of weeks for Kiwi women pipers – Fiona 3rd at the Northern Meeting, Marion 3rd at Oban and 1st at Braemar and Tracey Williams has also had some good results.

Thanks to Ross Horsburgh and Phil Mair for the hat-tip.
