St Andrews College in need of new Drum Tutor

Pipe Band Drum Tutor

The St Andrew’s College Pipe Band was formed in 1919 and for many years has been New Zealand’s premier school pipe band and enjoys a membership of over 100 students of the College. At the New Zealand National Championships this year the band won the overall Grade 2 championship title including Best Drum Corp Grade 2. At the World Championships in Scotland in 2007 the band gained third placing in the juvenile grade.

The band wish to appoint a permanent Drum Tutor.

The successful applicant must be proficient in drumming and have competed at a high level.
Tutoring experience and the ability to work with young people are prerequisites. The applicant must be available for tutoring during school hours, evenings and weekends as required.
