Canterbury Cale take first Grade 1 major of the season

The Canterbury Caledonian Society Pipe Band took the first Grade 1 major of the season by winning the relocated Victoria Square contest held in Christchurch. The Society’s Grade 3 band also took top honours in its grade, while City of Invercargill won both the Grade 2 and Grade 4 contests. St Andrews College won the Juvenile.
